TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Thankfully the severe storms are long gone on this Cinco De Mayo – but we’re tracking more showers and potentially a few storms with another disturbance tonight into Monday.
Some slightly drier air will arrive later Monday dropping our rain chance to 20%, primarily for areas south of I-4.
Highs will get warmer climbing into the upper 80s. A summertime air mass will set up shop for the week ahead. Morning lows will hold in the low to mid 70s. Highs will hover around 90.
Better moisture arriving late in the week will lead to a slightly higher rain chance on Friday.
