TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – After a warm & windy Wednesday, storms will push through this evening. A cold front behind the rain will move through early Thursday morning, turning our temperatures chilly through the beginning of the weekend.
We wake up slightly cooler in the 50s tomorrow, but we won’t warm up much at all thanks to the cooler air, highs stay well below average in the mid 60s. There will also be a cool breeze all day.
You’ll need to bundle up tomorrow night and Friday morning with temperatures in the upper 30s to mid 40s. It stays cool all day Friday with highs only in the low to mid 60s despite lots of sunshine.
For Gasparilla Saturday, it starts out chilly in the 40s, but there’s a faster warm-up. During the afternoon parade, we make it into the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. It should be pleasant in the sunshine, and just a little cool in the shade. Temperatures turn chilly pretty quickly Saturday evening, so you’ll need a jacket by sunset.
Sunday looks MUCH better! We wake up in the cool upper 50s and low 60s but warm up quickly, we’ll spend most of the day in the mild upper 70s, but we will make it into the low 80s for the afternoon. expect partly cloudy skies.
Overnight Sunday night into early Monday morning, a few showers will push through, mainly to the north of I-4. We will dry out Monday morning and warm up into the 70s.
Next week looks quite nice, waking up in the mid 60s and warming up into the upper 70s and low 80s.
