TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Friday turned out beautiful, we warmed into the low 80s under partly cloudy skies. It was rather breezy during the day, the winds should fade a bit overnight before building again on Saturday.
A few showers are possible overnight as a front approaches the area. The storms should begin to approach Citrus and Hernando counties between 2-3 a.m. Most of the showers will be in Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco counties early Saturday morning, but a few showers will move through northern Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.

Then, expect a cloudy. breezy break in the rain for a few hours. Temperatures will be mild, in the low 70s. Another round of showers and storms will move through our area starting on Saturday afternoon and lingering through Saturday evening.
The front behind the rain finally pushes past our area on Sunday, making for drier conditions, clearing skies, and cool temperatures .
Highs reach the mid 70s Saturday with the showers and storms, but the cold front passes Saturday night. It clears out quickly Sunday morning as cooler air arrives. Highs only reach the mid 60s with a chilly breeze all day.

It’s still cool Monday, but we warm up quickly again next week, and we’re back to near 80 by Wednesday.
