The Women’s Final Four action tips off at Amalie Arena beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday.

You really don’t need to be a women’s hoops expert to realize that Uconn, Baylor and Notre Dame are really good. Combined, these three programs have won 6 of the last 7 NCAA women’s basketball titles.

The Baylor Lady Bears are the heavy favorites to win the tournament, but it’s March and anything can happen.

They face Oregon, making it’s first Final Four appearance at 7 p.m. Friday. The Ducks are led by junior guard, Sabrina Ionescu, a potential number one overall pick in the WNBA draft.

She’s enjoyed her time in Tampa so far, but would love to upset top seed, Baylor.

“We didn’t know what to expect coming in. Just landing and having a red carpet rolled out for us,” she said.

“I think we’ve smiled so much this whole week…these last few days for sure. We’re enjoying the experience and everything that is has to offer, but now it’s game time.”
