Lightning announces opening day roster

The Tampa Bay Lightning released their roster for opening night against the Florida Panthers Wednesday afternoon.

Puck drop with the Panthers is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday at Amalie Arena. 

The full roster is listed below by position:

Forwards: Anthony Cirelli, Cory Conacher, Adam Erne, Yanni Gourde, Tyler Johnson, Mathieu Joseph, Alex Killorn, Nikita Kucherov, Danick Martel, J.T. Miller, Ondrej Palat, Cedric Paquette, Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos.

Defensemen: Braydon Coburn, Dan Girardi, Victor Hedman, Slater Koekkoek, Ryan McDonagh, Mikhail Sergachev and Anton Stralman

Goaltenders: Andrei Vasilevskiy and Louis Domingue

NOTE: Forward Ryan Callahan is on injured reserve after undergoing shoulder surgery this offseason.
