Bad news for the Rays and pitcher Tyler Glasnow.
According to Juan Toribio of MLB.com Glasnow’s MRI revealed a mild right forearm strain. He will be shut down from throwing for 7-10 days and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
Glasnow was 6-1 to start the 2019 season with a 1.86 era and 55 strikeouts over 48 innings.
We’ve activated Travis d’Arnaud, and recalled Andrew Velazquez from Durham.
