Tyler Glasnow to miss 4-6 weeks due to forearm strain

Bad news for the Rays and pitcher Tyler Glasnow.

According to Juan Toribio of MLB.com Glasnow’s MRI revealed a mild right forearm strain. He will be shut down from throwing for 7-10 days and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Glasnow was 6-1 to start the 2019 season with a 1.86 era and 55 strikeouts over 48 innings. 

The Rays have recalled Shortstop Andrew Velazquez as a corresponding move
