The Bucs (5-8) visit the Baltimore Ravens (7-6) during week 15. Kick off is at 1 o’clock on Sunday, December 16th.
The Bucs and Ravens have played each other only 5 times, the Ravens hold a 3-2 series edge all time.
This will be the first time the Bucs have faced rookie QB Lamar Jackson. Jackson has gone 3-1 as a starter for Baltimore. When Jackson is in, Baltimore runs the ball close to 60% of the time. The defensive line has likened Jackson to Michael Vick, and realize containing Jackson inside the pocket will be key.
On offense, last week we saw the passing game struggle in the 2nd half against New Orleans. Baltimore’s defense is very good at “disguising coverages” according to the team inside the locker room. Baltimore only allows about 18.5 points per game. This could be a challenge if the Bucs offense played like they did in the 2nd half against New Orleans.
When it comes to special teams, kicker Cairo Santos missed two field goals last week costing the Bucs 6 points. He’ll look to get back on track this week.
