YOUR OFFICIAL BUCS STATION: Buccaneers to host 49ers in season opener on Sept. 8

The Buccaneers will start their 2019 regular season with a battle of the bay areas.

According to NBC Sports Bay Area, the San Francisco 49ers will come to Raymond James Stadium on Sept. 8. The 49ers team includes former Bucs legend John Lynch, who is the current GM of the team and former linebacker Kwon Alexander who joined the 49ers in March via free agency.

The Buccaneers beat the 49ers last season 27-9.

WFLA Bucs partner Pewter Report is reporting via Panthers beat writer Joe Person of The Athletic that the Bucs will face the Panthers in Carolina on Thursday Night Football in Week 2. And that the Buccaneers will host the New York Giants in Week 3 on Sept. 22 at 4:05 p.m. 

The NFL announced on Wednesday that the Week 6 game between the Bucs and Panthers is officially set to take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The full 2019 NFL schedule will be released at 8 p.m. tonight on NFL Network
