Reports: Bucs WR DeSean Jackson wants out of Tampa

Per multiple reports, Bucs wide receiver DeSean Jackson wants out of Tampa Bay as soon as this season ends.

This was originally reported by ESPN’s Josina Anderson. Anderson revealed that there was some sort of exchange between Head Coach Dirk Koetter and Jackson that occurred on November 28th over him not practicing with a hand injury.

As a result, Jackson’s issues with the team started to “fester.”

On Thursday, Jackson wouldn’t speak about this report but Koetter responded by saying:

“If this happened after the 49’ers game I’m not even sure what we’re talking about so I’m not going to say anything about it. DeSean Jackson is a proven outstanding player in this league…I think our relationship is fine.”

This isn’t the first time this season something like this has surfaced.  Back in October, Jackson reportedly had asked the Bucs for a trade. He later denied these reports.

From a production standpoint, there’s no secret the wide receiver’s chemistry with Jameis Winston is lacking…they are just 14 of 34 this season.
