TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Details of the car crash that injured Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul have been released.

Pierre-Paul suffered a potentially season-ending neck injury.

According to traffic crash report, Pierre-Paul was traveling south on Interstate 95 in Broward County, south of State Road 842 in the third lane.

Pierre-Paul lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road.

The car rotated and collided with the concrete barrier.

The crash report stated there were no skid marks or debris found in the road.

The report notes weather conditions and wet road surface conditions were contributing circumstances to the crash.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Pierre-Paul will visit neck specialists this week to get their opinions to see if there’s hope to save this season.
