It is official! The Buccaneers interviewed former Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians.

This marks the third official interview since Dirk Koetter was fired this past Sunday.

We learned from the team that Arians met with GM Jason Licht here in Tampa on Saturday.

Arians retired from coaching in 2017 due to health concerns. Originally it appeared as if he was only interested in coming out of retirement to coach the Cleveland Browns, but his ties to Licht might be stronger.

In Arizona with the Cardinals, Arians’ time overlapped with Licht in 2013. This is when Licht was the team’s director of player personnel.

Overall, Arians compiled a 49-30-1 record as the Cardinals head coach.

This is the third official interview conducted by the Bucs. This coming after Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Vikings defensive coordinator George Edwards.
