News Channel 8 is Tampa’s home station for the Buccaneers, and now WESH 2, the NBC affiliate in Orlando, has announced an exclusive multi-year partnership to be the home of the Buccaneers in Orlando. The pre-season games, “Ali & Donovan” and “Bucs All Access” will be broadcast on WESH 2 starting in August.

“We are extremely pleased to forge this new broadcast partnership with WESH 2,” said WFLA Vice President/General Manager Skip Valet said. “Their commitment to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization and the NFL, combined with a strong presence in the market will provide an excellent viewing opportunity for fans in Central Florida.”

“It’s exciting to partner with a premiere NFL organization,” said John R. Soapes, President and General Manager of WESH 2. “The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a first-class team with one of the most powerful brands in Florida and, in combination with NBC’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ on WESH 2, this is a perfect fit for both of us.”
