(WFLA/CNN Newsource) – Here’s something we don’t hear often.
A streaming service is actually cutting the costs of one of its plans.
Hulu announced Wednesday it is lowering the price for its cheapest package by $2.
Starting Feb. 26, Hulu’s basic plan will cost $6 a month.
The plan includes ads.
The streaming service says it is raising the price of its live TV package.
That will now cost $45 per month, which is a $5 increase.
Hulu’s change comes just a week after Netflix announced a price hike.
All three of the company’s plans will cost $1 or $2 more a month.
That makes Netflix’s most basic version $9 a month.
