TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Seven Springs Boulevard is closed in both directions after a serious crash in Pasco County, authorities said.

The crash happened at Seven Springs and Veterans Villas Drive on Wednesday morning.

Officials said two people were rushed to area hospitals as trauma alerts. One had to be extricated from their vehicle.

The roadway will remain closed until further notice.
