TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A crash left a pickup truck wedged under a semi-trailer on the Howard Frankland Bridge early Monday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol said both vehicles were traveling southbound on Interstate 275 in a center in outside lane. When they neared 4th Street, the pickup truck went into the outside lane and ran into the semi-truck, then rotated and got stuck under the trailer.

The driver of the pickup, a 22-year-old St. Petersburg man, suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was not hurt.

The crash was blocking some southbound lanes, but the roadway reopened about two hours later.
