(WFLA) – It’s been nearly a week since Hurricane Harvey hit Texas and Louisiana and it feels like there is no end in sight. If you’ve seen the heartbreaking images devastation and destruction, you may be wondering how you can help.
Many organizations are doing vital work to aid an increasing number of people in need. We have a running list of organizations that are helping Harvey relief efforts. Find out how you can help them bring comfort to those affected.
Donate to organizations in Tampa Bay:
In Lakeland, the indoor trampoline place, 2Infinity, is filling a large truck from now until Monday. They are located on 98 North.
Winn-Dixie
- Now through Sept. 6 customers can make donations at all Winn-Dixie stores during checkout, as well as online on www.winndixie.com.
The Christian Disaster Response in Polk County
- The group is headed to Texas to help those devastated by Hurricane Harvey. If you would like to help the organization click here: https://cdresponse.org/
Clean Juice’s “Toothpaste to Towels from Tampa to Texas”
- Clean Juice will be collecting toothpaste, towels, and toiletries to send to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
- Donations can be delivered between the hours of 1 – 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9.
- The juice bar is located at 13138 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa Florida, 33618
Gaspar’s Grotto, 1805 E Seventh Ave. hosts Sept. 8 fundraising event to help Houston victims of Hurricane Harvey. Cash and credit card donations will be accepted starting at 5 p.m.
