A Sarasota playground is now a crime scene after someone set it on fire. The fire at Pioneer Park started around 9 p.m. Monday night.
Investigators say because it spread so fast, the State Fire Marshal determined the fire was arson.
Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, Sarasota Police Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Sarasota Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 941-954-7070.
