MTV “Siesta Key” cast member Paul Bayne Apostolides, 26, was arrested last week in Sarasota County.

Apostolides, better known as Pauly Paul, was arrested Wednesday near his home for possessing more than 20 grams of marijuana, a felony, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.

The aspiring DJ and rapper was also charged with contempt of court for a previous driving with an open container arrest.

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported that a deputy was doing surveillance on Apostolides since he had an active warrant for failure to appear on the public drinking charge.

The newspaper said Apostolides had two bags of marijuana, which weighed 27.6 grams. In Florida, over 20 grams is considered a felony.

Apostolides was also found to be driving with a suspended license and an expired car tag, according to the newspaper.

He was released after posting $1,550 bond for the marijuana and contempt of court charge.

He’s expected to be arraigned July 3 on the open container charge and July 20 on the marijuana charge.

Apostolides was arrested in June 2017 on a contempt of court charge for failure to appear on a previous marijuana possession charge.

That case was mentioned on the TV show when Alex Kompothecras’ father, 1-800-ASK-GARY founder, Gary Kompothecras picked him up from jail.
