TAMPA (WFLA) – A Lakeland man is $500,000 richer after he hit the jackpot playing a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.
Robert Chencinski, 50, won the $500,000 top prize in the DIAMOND MINE 9X Scratch-Off game.
The ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, located at 4975 South Florida Avenue in Lakeland.
The $5 game features more than $48 million in cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.00.
