'Armed and dangerous' suspect in Winter Haven murder identified

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) - Deputies in Polk County have identified the man they say is responsible for a shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured.

On Sunday, 23-year-old Nasir Sutton was shot and killed in Winter Haven. His roommate, 38-year-old Bennie Joyner, was shot and seriously injured. The shooting happened just before 6:30 on Carefree Cove Drive in Winter Haven.

Detectives have now obtained an arrest warrant for 36-year-old James Steven "Spooky" Williams. They say he lived on and off with the two victims.
