PINELLAS PARK, FL (WFLA) — The Pinellas Park Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man who is wanted for attempted murder. Police say 31-year-old Glen Neal Jr. of Pinellas Park is wanted after he allegedly beat an 11-month-old boy. Police were alerted to the case after the boy was admitted to All Children’s Hospital on July 5th for a severe head injury.
Investigators say Neal kicked, punched, and bit the infant resulting in the head trauma. At this time, the boy remains in serious condition with bleeding on his brain. Police are unsure of Neal’s relationship to the child, however do say Neal was in the child’s home and responsible for the care of him at that time.
Anyone with information on Neal’s whereabouts is asked to call police. Neal has a violent criminal history to include child neglect, resisting arrest, fleeing to elude, cocaine possession and battery upon a law enforcement officer.
