ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — St. Petersburg police said they charged a woman with second-degree murder after her sister was found dead in their home.
The St. Petersburg Police Department said they responded to a home on Newton Avenue South at 3:26 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a woman’s death. The victim was later identified as 54-year-old Sherry Lynn Howard.
Police said they arrested her sister, 39-year-old Charee Howard, and charged her with second-degree murder.
Investigators said the two sisters lived together in the home and no one else was home at the time of the murder.
