ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A St. Petersburg man claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH scratch-off game from the Florida Lottery.
Gary Franklin, 52, chose to receive his money as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
The lottery said Franklin bought the winning ticket at B & N Food Mart on 62nd Avenue.
The store will get a $2,000 commission.
