No bond for mom accused of murdering 2-year-old son, remains in jail and pregnant

Pinellas County

Relatives of murdered 2-year-old Jordan Belliveau made it to court Wednesday, but not in time to see his mother, Charisse Stinson, go before a judge.

“Death penalty is too easy. I want her to live her life out knowing what she did to my grandson,” said Jessica Belliveau. “All she said to my son was, ‘I’m sorry.'”

Jordan was found in the woods Tuesday, after days of searching.

“The goal was to find him. We found him, not like how we wanted to, but we brought him home,” said Cheryl Pressley, Jordan’s great aunt.

Stinson was arrested and charged with first degree murder.

Police said Stinson concocted an elaborate story to cover up his death, from being knocked out, to fabricating a kidnapper named “Antwan.”

Investigators said her bruises were even self inflicted.

“We knew she was lying. I just wanted her to tell us where he was,” said Jessica Belliveau.

Belliveau said she last saw her grandchild last week, days before he was murdered.

He was supposed to come live with her and his father.

“He’s struggling. She robbed him of his whole world and on his birthday at that,” said Belliveau.

Stinson is currently pregnant with a daughter.

Belliveau said she plans to fight for custody.

“I’m taking that baby. She will not hurt another baby again and I put that on Jesus. I’ll die and go to hell first,” said Belliveau.

Police still want to question the man in the video released yesterday.

They believe he’s a passer by and may have spoken to Stinson the night her son disappeared.

Police are waiting for the official cause of death from the Medical Examiner’s office.
