Lanes reopen on U.S. 19 in Clearwater after serious crash

CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – A serious crash snarled traffic Thursday morning on U.S. 19 in Clearwater. 

The crash occurred in the area of U.S. 19 and  Seville Boulevard at about 4:15 a.m. 

Police said one person was ejected from their vehicle and rushed to Bayfront Health Hospital as a trauma alert. Two others sustained minor injuries and were taken to Morton Plant Hospital. 

The crash forced the temporary closure of U.S. 19 at Drew Street. All lanes have since reopened.
