ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – St. Petersburg detectives arrested a Hillsborough man on Thursday after he allegedly stole 27 computers from his employer.
Roberto Garriga, 35, was arrested.
Garriga was an IT technician at Omnicell, located on Gandy Boulevard in St. Petersburg.
Omnicell managers contacted police on Dec. 20 to report 27 computers, worth approximately $43,000, had gone missing since the beginning of October.
A manager had seen some of the computers being sold online.
Detectives determined Garriga was responsible for the theft.
He is charged with grand theft.
