PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A deputy is in the hospital after a woman struck his patrol car in the area of Tampa Road and Sunflower Drive, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.
The deputy was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Officials said he only had minor injuries.
The woman was arrested for driving under the influence with injuries, according to deputies.
The investigation is ongoing.
