19-year-old dies after shooting in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – A 19-year-old has died after a shooting in St. Petersburg on Friday, police said.

Police said the man was shot in the 4800 block of 20th Avenue South just before 8:30 p.m. and ran to a nearby home where someone called 911.

Paramedics rushed the man to the hospital, where he later died.
