Deputies responded to the house fire at 6630 Carnation Way.
Deputy Justin Ball first made entry into the smoke-filled home where Theresa Mitcka, 74, said her mother, Maria Logan, 97, was in her bedroom.
Mitchka said the fire originated in the bedroom.
