A stripper in Pasco County was arrested after getting into a fight with another stripper and ripping a power meter off a building.
The fury started at the Desire Gentlemen’s Club on Grand Boulevard in New Port Richey at about 9 p.m. Thursday, Pasco Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies said Christie Caratini-Mendoza, 37, punched the other woman several times in the face, knocked her down and kicked her while she was on the floor.
After the fight, deputies said Caratini-Mendoza took a Progress Energy electric power meter from the wall of the gentlemen’s club and hid it. She later admitted taking it, deputies said. They searched her bag and found the meter tag tangled in her wig.
Caratini-Mendoza was charged with battery and grand theft. She was taken to the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center.
