2 missing girls found safe in Zephyrhills

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. (WFLA) – Deputies say two young girls who were considered missing and endangered have been found safe in Zephyrhills. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office says the 12-year-old and 9-year-old sisters were found safe by deputies.

Authorities in Pasco County are searching for two young girls who are considered missing and endangered.

Pasco County detectives say 12-year-old Linda Griffis and 9-year-old Alyssa Griffis were last seen near Raymond B. Stewart Middle School around 2 a.m. Tuesday. They have not been seen since then.

Linda has blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

Alyssa also has blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink and blue shirt with blue shorts.

Anyone with information on where the girls are is asked to call 911 immediately.
