LOS ANGELES (WFLA) — A high-speed chase took place in Los Angeles Monday, according to NBC affiliate KNBC.

The station reported that the pursuit began in the South Bay area at around 10:15 a.m. PDT.

It is not known what led to the chase. The chase largely took place on the city’s freeways, with the motorcyclist going off road in Elysian Park multiple times.

While in the park, the cyclist rode past people who were visiting the park.

The chase continued into neighborhoods near Dodger Stadium before officers finally took the motorcyclist into custody after the chase end in an alley.
