RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA) – Keith Bradley’s wrecked truck sat Castillo’s Paint & Collision for a month, and $4,000 later, it came out worse than when it was dropped off.
“They just kept making excuses,” Bradley said.
Bradley depends on his truck for work as a contractor and when his rental car insurance benefits were up, he went without work for three weeks.
He picked up the truck last week and put it back together himself, he said.
Eight customers have turned to Better Call Behnken. Some still need their vehicles and others are stuck with wrecked vehicles. Every single one says this shop cashed their insurance checks without doing work.
Ed Kalinowski, who claims to be the owner, told 8 On Your Side a week ago that he would pay people back. He has missed appointments and now won’t return our phone calls.
