HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) - The Withlacoochee River has been steadily rising due to heavy rainfall in the area over the past few weeks.
The river is in action stage at both the Croom and Trilby gauge locations.
Additional rainfall over the new few days may have an impact on the potential for minor flooding in the area.
The total amount the river will rise remains uncertain.
