Supporters of 6-year-old victim want accused Pasco rapist castrated

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Supporters of a 6-year-old rape victim in Pasco County want the man accused of the crime to be castrated. 

The group of adults appeared in court Tuesday during the arraignment hearing for Terrelle Cole Jr. 
Cole, 25, is accused of sexually battering the young girl back in March.

He is still locked up and was not in court Tuesday but his attorney issued a not guilty plea on his behalf. 

Supporters of the victim did not want to speak on camera but told News Channel 8 they want harsh punishment for Cole. 

Deputies said a family member caught Cole in the act sexually assaulting the child. 

Cole ran but was later located after investigators collected physical evidence and spoke to witnesses, according to deputies. 

Investigators said a deputy found Cole driving near the Suncoast Parkway and SR 52. 

Cole is being held on a $100,000 bond and is due back in court on July 19.
