SPRING HILL, Fla. (WFLA) – A Spring Hill man was arrested after a shooting attempt at a McDonald’s on Tuesday.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the McDonald’s located at 2350 Commercial Way in reference to a reported shooting.

Witnesses reported an individual riding in a gray-colored vehicle left the vehicle and shot at the driver of another car in the parking lot of the restaurant.

When deputies arrived on scene, both parties had already left the scene.

While deputies were on scene, the victim of the attempted shooting, Kevin Terry, 19, called 911 from a home on Hanover Court to report the shooting.

While neither Terry nor his passenger were struck by bullets, Terry was cut by shards of broken glass after his driver’s side window shattered during the incident.

Terry was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

With Terry’s help, investigators were able to identify the shooter as Anthony Ficarra Jr., 20.

The driver of the vehicle Ficarra was riding in was identified as Joshua Faucher, also 20.

Ficarra was located at a home on Copeland Way and was taken into custody.

Faucher is cooperating with investigators and has yet to be charged.

The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
