TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa Bay just keeps getting better and better, now being called the “best place to live” in Florida.
According to ranking and review site Niche, four of the top five best places to live in Florida are part of Tampa’s own backyard.
The town claiming No. 1 on the list is Harbour Island, followed by Spanishtown which is right outside the downtown Tampa area.
Coming in closely behind is Courier City/Oscawana in the Tampa limits, followed by the beautiful Hyde Park area.
Rounding out the bunch is Orwin Manor in Orlando.
Niche gave all four of the Tampa towns an A+ rating for schools, housing, jobs, health and fitness and family life.
What’s even more impressive is out of 228 ranked cities, Clearwater was named the second best city to retire to in America.
Niche also ranks the best places for families, safest places, most diverse places, best places to buy a house along with many other categories.
The calculate the “best places to live” Niche explores 15,000+ cities, towns, and neighborhoods nationwide based on cost of living, public schools, safety, jobs, local amenities and more.
