A monster alligator that is so big he shocks those who see him, has once again been spotted on a Palmetto golf course.
Sage Stryczny and his dad were golfing last Saturday at the Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto, when they saw the massive gator sauntering between ponds on the green.
“He was a beast. Me and my dad were about to hit off the tee on a par 3 and we saw him laying right on the green,” said Stryczny.
Stryczny said the first thing that went through his mind when he saw the gator was, “Holy crap, that’s a monster gator on the green.”
Chubbs didn’t scare Stryczny and his dad from their golf game and they continued to play with the monster gator not too far away.
“We were trying to golf, so we were within 50 feet of him after we hit our shots.”
The men watched the gator on his golf course stroll.
“He took a lot of rests,” said Stryczny, who thought the mammoth gator must have been on his way from a small pond to another larger pond.
“My dad says he’s never seen anything like it in all the years golfing,” Stryczny said. “It was definitely a cool sight to see.”
The huge gator was spotted by golfers in 2016. Back then, officials at the Buffalo Creek Golf Course told 8 Your Side this gator has been roaming the course for years. They even say he’s good for business, since people want to catch a glimpse of the big boy.
One employee says he doesn’t bother anybody and they don’t bother him.
