A fire burned down a home in Bradenton on Sunday, officials said.

The Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue responded to a fire in the 1900 block of 30th Ave W. at abut 1 p.m. and found the home fully engulfed in flames.

Crews knocked out the fire in 15 minutes, but the structure was a total loss.

Firefighters did not find anyone inside the home, which is believed to have been vacant for several years.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
