Deputies searching for man who flashed customers outside Panera Bread

Manatee County

Manatee County deputies say a mysterious man has been flashing customers outside of a Panera Bread restaurant.

They need your help to find him, before he strikes again.

Last August, patrons were walking into this Panera Bread at the intersection of University Parkway and Tuttle Avenue when they noticed a very suspicious man out front.

“A guy was sitting at a table and he has holes in his pants and he’s exposing himself,” said MCSO spokesman Randy Warren.

Management asked him to leave and then seven months later he struck again!

On March 25th, deputies say he returned and committed the same crime!

Deputies say this was no accident, he knew what he was doing.

“He’s potentially made some gestures that’s obviously very much a concern,” said Warren.

“It’s very disgusting absolutely,” said patron Jon George.

Visitors to this shopping plaza are stunned. This is a large, very nice complex, that’s popular with families.

“Those kind of things, you never really expect them to happen, period. You know what I mean?” said George.

Deputies need your help. They want to know if he’s committed this crime anywhere else.

“We’re very concerned because this could be somebody who could be trying to prey on people,” said Warren.

“Hopefully this gentleman gets captured pretty quickly,” said George.

If you have any information to help deputies find this flasher, contact the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
