BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) - Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that left a man dead in Bradenton late Friday night.
Bradenton police officers responded to the shooting on Manatee Avenue East near 21st Street East around 11:55 p.m.
Responding officers found 24-year-old Alfonso Jimenez of Naples dead from a gunshot wound at the scene.
Witnesses told officers they saw Jimenez involved in an argument with 37-year-old Miguel Angel Alvarado. According to police, Alvarado shot Jimenez then ran from the scene.
Bradenton police have now obtained a warrant for Alvarado's arrest. He is described as a Hispanic man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 5'5" and 230 pounds.
