TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – With its twenty-first edition, World Class Fight League (WCFL) returns to Tampa this weekend with another action packed fight card that features some of the best amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters in the business looking to turn pro with a single knockout, chokeout or arm bar submission.

“Our fighters are specifically invited because of their stand up game, groundwork, and overall fighting ability! You will not see an average fighter at our promotion. Only the best fighters will step into the WCFL cage!” said American Top Team Promoter Ralph Garcia.

Sarah Kleczka fights out of American Top Team gym. She turned pro last year. Her fans know her by her nickname “Chucky”. This weekend you can find her ringside as one of the commentators. Sarah is 2-1 after fighting two weekends in a row. Saturday night’s big boxing bouts at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC features 19 fights and four title fights. Two amateurs will walk away with a pro contract with Invicta Fighting Championships.

If you are looking for a local female fighter to cheer on, Tampa’s own Lauren Bensinger is putting her 4-2 record on the line for a chance to turn pro and start earning money for the damage she is doing in the cage.

The action starts early over with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the first fight starts at 6 p.m.
