Authorities cancel Florida Missing Child Alert for 2 boys

(WFLA) - The missing child alert that was issued for 13-year-old Wyatt Midkiff and 10-year-old Carter Midkiff on Friday night has been canceled.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the boys, who were last seen in Ohio. The FDLE believed they were possibly traveling to Valrico.

A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for two children who may possibly be traveling to Valrico.

The alert was issued for Wyatt Midkiff, 13, and Carter Midkiff, 10. 

The children were last seen in the area of the 300 block of Columbus Road in Athens, Ohio.

Wyatt is 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black, puffy winter coat, a dark, long-sleeve shirt, gray nylon running pants and bright blue high-top sneakers.

Carter is 4’5” and 80 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black, puffy winter coat, a dark, long-sleeve shirt, gray nylon running pants and black low-top sneakers.

Wyatt has a buzz cut hair style and a scar on his right temple.

Carter has a buzz cut hair style as well and a tear drop birthmark under his left eye.

The children may be in the company of Dustin Midkiff, 36, and Amanda Seeley, 38. Dustin is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Amanda is 5’6” and has brown hair and brown eyes.

They may be traveling in a late model white Ford Expedition, with gray trim around the wheels of the vehicle.

The vehicle has a moon roof and a luggage rack on the roof.

If they are located, do not approach them and contact law enforcement immediately.
