TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — Calley Pate, mother of two and green living blogger, has tips on fast and efficient ways to clean the bathroom. These life hacks help her tackle a part of the house that most people dread cleaning.

Pate stays away from most traditional cleaners. For the mirrors, she wets an e-cloth and wipes away smudges.

For surfaces, she mixes one part vinegar with four parts water and adds a few drops of lemon essential oil.

She uses either real lemon or lemon essential oil on hard water marks.

To tackle the toilet, she uses denture cleaners. “You’re going to drop it in and let it start fizzing,” she said. It makes scrubbing easier.

As for the dirty toilet brush, she sprinkles a little lemon essential oil on it and the holder to keep it smelling fresh.
