(WFLA) – A homeless kitten in Rochester, Minnesota, that had two broken legs has been given a second shot at life.

KTTC reports that this little guy was found by a construction worker. The cat had both legs broken. The vets at the Heritage Pet Hospital took him right in and operated, putting tow metal rods in his legs.

The doctors said they were not sure how he was going to survive two broken legs but the homeless nameless kitten that now goes by Rodknee seems to be recovering fine.

He has a new family waiting to adopt him when he is ready.

The vets don’t exactly know how Rodknee broke his legs, but they think he may have either been run over or crawled into someone’s engine.
