When you move to a new city, it can be hard to make friends. There are apps for dating or work, but just finding a pal was tough, until now.
New Town Connections (NTC) gives folks a different way to go out and meet people without having to network or date.
Whether you just moved here or you’re looking for fresh faces, NTC can hook you up with like-minded folks.
Between brunches, kayaking, and volunteering on the schedule, you’re bound to find something to fit the bill.
“If you like sports, you like art, you like happy hours, you like meeting people – its all of the above. And you can do it every single week Tampa Bay,” founder Andrew Machota said.
The NTC group caters to those in their 20s to 40s who are looking to make lifelong friends.
“You meet people organically, have a natural conversation that doesn’t involve ‘What do you do for work?’ and the ultimate goal is I want people to walk away. Add someone on Facebook, get a phone number, get a business card, and make a true friend,” Machota said.
The membership cost is an affordable $20 so that anyone can join because NTC believes everyone should feel welcome in Tampa Bay.
