SAFETY HARBOR, Fla. (WFLA) - The swanky dining and entertainment destination, Gigglewaters, may be a new spot but it has an old soul.
Gigglewater’s is taking downtown Safety Harbor back to the days of prohibition, but with a new-age twist.
The modernized speakeasy roars like the 1920s from the music to the decor.
In the bar, the only parts that are new are the screws and the mirrors.
Everything else you see is authentic pieces from the beloved Belleview Biltmore.
You can stop by the hopping place just for dinner or drinks, or join the fun in the screening room.
The intimate theater holds 32 of your new best friends for a movie experience like never before.
For $5 a ticket - you’ll see old-time classics like Grease or the Goonies or even catch a newer flick.
“It’s just fun to eat and drink, great classic cocktails. Amazing delicious delicate Amish popcorn and full entrees. You can have our burgers our dogs, anything back there while you watch a movie. And that’s a really fun experience,” owner Rachel Wilson said.
The swanky joint is also mixing up some unique craft cocktails with fresh juices, even tossing a few into the smoke box for a little extra flavor.
There’s a different movie screened every day, so tons of films to fit everyone’s taste.
