Crews with the City of Tampa tested green dye ahead of next week’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
The city started dying the Hillsborough River green ahead of what is considered one of the best St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the country.
You can see the kelly green dye starts to fill the river. The Tampa Downtown Partnership says the dye being used is totally safe for humans and the wildlife. The dye is used in foods and certain types of surgery.
