A fire involving a truck and RV shut down part of I-75 in Tampa on Wednesday.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office tweeted about the fire just before noon. Florida Highway Patrol Troopers also responded to the scene and said a motorhome towing a truck caught fire.
The fire happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 near Fletcher Avenue. It initially shut down all of the northbound lanes and the on-ramp but two lanes have reopened.
At this point, authorities have not said what caused the fire. There is no word yet on any injuries.
