Thousands pack downtown St. Pete for Grand Prix IndyCar races

Indy race cars will be zooming through downtown St. Petersburg for one more day, wrapping up the Firestone Grand Prix on Sunday.

Thousands of fans have been lining the streets as drivers make more than 100 laps around the course. 

Sebastien Bourdais, a St. Pete local is trying to win for a third time in a row at the season opener of the IndyCar series. 

Warm ups begin Sunday at 9:20 a.m. with races continuing throughout the day until 5:25 p.m.
